The ‘Mates’ Program – Toymate Loyalty Program

Our ‘Mates’ Loyalty Program is an in-store loyalty program that offers the following benefits:

 - Email notifications of Toymate news, promotions, and specials

 - A unique profile that keeps a helpful record of your purchase history

 - An escalation to Gold Mate status with a 5% discount on future purchases after you spend $90 in-store across one or more transactions*

Terms & Conditions

1. About the Toymate Loyalty Program

1.1 The Toymate Loyalty Program is referred to as the ‘Mates’ Program. It operates in Toymate retail stores nationally. It does not apply to online purchases from toymate.com.au or its affiliate websites.

1.2. Customers may join the Mates Loyalty Program by signing up in person at any Toymate retail store, or via toymate.com.au

1.3. The terms and conditions that apply to the Mates Loyalty Program are set out below.

 

2. General Information

2.1.    Participation in the Loyalty Program is voluntary and open to individuals with a unique email address and mobile number within Australia.

2.2.    To participate in the Loyalty Program, a customer is required to provide Toymate at a minimum, with a first name, surname, phone number and valid email address (Contact details).

2.3.    By joining the Loyalty Program, a customer agrees to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal information in accordance with the Toymate Privacy Policy (as amended from time to time) which can be found at https://toymate.com.au/help-centre/privacy-policy

2.4.    To remain in the Loyalty Program, a customer must advise a Toymate team member of any changes to their personal details as soon as reasonably possible. This can be done in-store, or via our Customer Service team on 1300-869-628.

2.5.    By providing your details, you agree to receive email and/or SMS communications regarding news, promotions and special offers

from H&D Retail Pty Limited (Toymate). You can opt out of these communication at any time by:

 

 - Using the unsubscribe function in the footer of the email

 - Texting STOP in reply to an SMS

 - Contacting our Customer Service team for assistance on 1300 869 628

2.6.    We reserve the right to change, suspend or terminate these terms and conditions or the Mates Loyalty program at any time. Any such changes will be notified prior to implementation by a notice on the Toymate website www.toymate.com.au and in store.

2.7.    To the extent permitted by law (and with the provision that nothing in these terms and conditions limits or denies any consumer rights under the Australian Consumer Law) H&D Retail Pty Limited will not be liable to you in any way or for any cause related to your membership or the Mates Loyalty program.

 

3. Gold 'Mate' Loyalty Status (Gold Mate)

3.1.    Gold Mate status will be allocated to a Mates Loyalty member once they spend a minimum of $90 over one or more transactions in a Toymate store.

3.2.    Gold Mate members will receive a 5% discount on full price, in-store purchases (not including their initial $90 spend) at any Toymate retail store.

3.3     The 5% discount applies to full price purchases only and is not redeemable on:-

 - Purchases of Toymate (or any other) Gift Cards

 - Reduced price products

 - Products that are on an individual or category/brand discount price promotion (eg. 20% off a brand or category) unless otherwise stated.

3.4     The 5% discount cannot be used in conjunction with the Toymate Price Match Promise extra 5% discount.
