Our Toymate Loyalty Program rewards Toymate customers from the moment they join.
When you sign up to become a Toymate Mate, you will automatically receive Gold Mate status, giving you access to the following benefits:
- 5% off eligible in store purchases*
- Member only prices, offers and promotions
- Email updates about Toymate news, promotions and special offers, subject to your communication preferences
- A unique customer profile that keeps a helpful record of your purchase history
There is no minimum spend required to become a Gold Mate.

How does the Toymate Loyalty Program work?
Simply sign up for a Toymate Loyalty account by providing the required contact details. Once you have joined, you will automatically become a Gold Mate and receive access to your Gold Mate benefits, including 5% off eligible in store purchases. The 5% Gold Mate discount does not apply to online orders or pre orders. We will also keep a record of your purchase history under your unique profile and keep you up to date with Toymate news, promotions and special offers, subject to your communication preferences.
How do I become a Gold Mate and get 5% off?
It’s easy! All new Toymate Mates automatically receive Gold Mate status when they sign up. There is no minimum spend required to qualify. Once your membership is active, you are eligible to receive 5% off eligible purchases made in a Toymate retail store. The 5% Gold Mate discount is not available on online orders or pre orders.
Do I get the 5% discount straight away?
Yes. Your Gold Mate status is activated when you successfully sign up, meaning your 5% Gold Mate discount can apply to eligible in store purchases from the time your membership is active. The discount does not apply to online orders or pre orders.
Is the 5% Gold Mate discount applied to all purchases?
No. The Gold Mate 5% discount applies to eligible purchases made in a Toymate retail store only.
The discount does not apply to:
- Online orders
- Pre-orders, whether placed in store or online
- The purchase of Toymate or other gift cards
- Products or purchases specifically identified as excluded from the Gold Mate discount
- Purchases where the Toymate Price Match Promise extra 5% discount is being applied
- Other promotions or offers where it is stated that the Gold Mate discount cannot be used
Gold Mate discounts cannot be exchanged for cash and may not be used in conjunction with other offers where specified.

1. About the Toymate Loyalty Program
1.1 The Toymate Loyalty Program is available to eligible Toymate customers shopping in store and online at toymate.com.au. However, the Gold Mate 5% discount is available on eligible in store purchases only and does not apply to online orders or pre orders.
1.2. Customers may join the Toymate Loyalty Program by signing up at a Toymate retail store or online at toymate.com.au.
1.3. Upon successfully joining the Toymate Loyalty Program, members will automatically receive Gold Mate status. There is no minimum spend required to qualify for Gold Mate status.
1.4. These Terms & Conditions apply to participation in the Toymate Loyalty Program and the benefits available to Toymate Loyalty members.
2. General Information
2.1. Participation in the Toymate Loyalty Program is voluntary and is open to individuals with a unique email address and Australian mobile number.
2.2. To participate in the Toymate Loyalty Program, customers are required to provide Toymate with, at a minimum, their first name, surname, mobile number and a valid email address.
2.3. By joining the Toymate Loyalty Program, you agree to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with the Toymate Privacy Policy, as amended from time to time.
2.5. Where you have consented to receive marketing communications from Toymate, you may receive email and/or SMS communications regarding Toymate news, promotions, special offers, products and events.
You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by:
- Using the unsubscribe link provided in our marketing emails
- Replying STOP to an SMS where available
- Contacting our Customer Service team via our Contact Us page
Opting out of marketing communications does not cancel your Toymate Loyalty membership.
2.6. Toymate reserves the right to change, suspend or terminate these Terms & Conditions or the Toymate Loyalty Program at any time. Where appropriate, changes will be communicated prior to implementation through the Toymate website, in store or through other reasonable means.
2.7. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
To the extent permitted by law, H&D Retail Pty Limited will not be liable for any loss arising from participation in, or use of, the Toymate Loyalty Program except where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
3. Gold Mate Loyalty Status
3.1. All Toymate Loyalty members automatically receive Gold Mate status when they successfully join the Toymate Loyalty Program. There is no minimum spend required to qualify for Gold Mate status.
3.2. Gold Mate members are eligible to receive a 5% discount on eligible purchases made in a Toymate retail store from the time their membership is active.
3.3 To receive the Gold Mate 5% discount, members must identify themselves as a Toymate Loyalty member at the time of purchase in store.
3.4 The Gold Mate 5% discount does not apply to:
- Online orders
- Pre-orders, whether placed in store or online
- The purchase of Toymate or other gift cards
- Products or purchases specifically identified as excluded from the Gold Mate discount
- Purchases where the Toymate Price Match Promise extra 5% discount is being applied
- Other promotions or offers where it is stated that the Gold Mate discount cannot be used
3.5 The Gold Mate 5% discount cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
3.6 Gold Mate benefits, offers and discounts are personal to the member and may not be transferred to another person.
3.7 The Gold Mate 5% discount may not be used in conjunction with other offers or promotions where specified.
