Chicco Hydrogel Soothing Pads - 6pk

Chicco Hydrogel discs give direct relief for the discomforts experienced by breastfeeding mothers (such as pain, swelling and sensitivity). Used from the first signs of reddening, the hydrogel disks help you to prevent irritation or nipple lacerations, maintaining the skin moisturised and supple.

They alleviate pain, soothing, refreshing and protecting the nipple and areola, allowing you to continue breast-feeding. In case of skin breaks, they create the ideal condition that favours healing by reducing the proliferation of bacteria.

When should I use the Hydrogel discs, before or after breastfeeding? We recommend you use a Hydrogel disc right after feeding to help soothe the irritated nipples.

How long should I keep a hydrogel disc on my breast? Ideally for 30 minutes; but for a minimum of 10 minutes and a maximum of one hour.

How many times can I use one hydrogel disc? Each hydrogel disc is for single use only. It should be disposed of after use for hygienic reasons.

If my baby swallows some of the gel from the hydrogel discs, can this be harmful? No, the gel is safe for your baby. You do not need to remove any excess gel before breastfeeding if you do not want to.
